I have a 2017 Alterra TRV 500 Yesterday when I went to move it, it stalled, it will start and run for 20-30 seconds and stalls again. The EFI is reporting fault P0336 which indicates a problem with the signal from the crankshaft position sensor. I am reconditioning the battery since my internet searches say a low battery may cause this but where is the crankshaft position sensor on the TRV 500 and does it actually have one?
I downloaded the service manual from Cat Country and on page 203 it says I should have 96-144 Ohms between the green and blue wires, but I searched on Partzilla, Cat Country and the Artic Cat Part House and I cannot find a crankshaft position sensor anywhere in the parts breakdowns.
Does anyone have an idea or part number for the CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR? on a 2017 Alterra TRV 500
