Injector power failure drop resistor info

My friend's 1996 Arctic Cat Panther 580 EFI won't fire the injectors and he discovered the drop resistor was the issue after some troubleshooting. He unplugged it to get the sled running but wants to replace it with the correct specification part. I've been helping him diagnose the problem but I don't have the exact resistance values memorized for these components. Does anyone have the specs handy for the drop resistor ohm readings on these EFI Panthers?

A friend of mine had this problem and said that these resistors are a common failure points on the Panthers. I'm 99% sure it was 2.8 ohms, but you can check the markings on the resistor to make sure.

My friend should meet your friend :ROFLMAO: Kidding aside, it's reassuring to know that we're not the only ones who have encountered this specific issue. Thanks for providing the ohms number. This gives us a real value to work with. We attempted to inspect the markings on the original part but after nearly 30 yrs of service, any numbers on it are now long gone and unreadable. Before we order a new 1 based on that value, does anyone happen to have a service manual handy to confirm that 2.8 ohms is the correct spec? We hope to resolve this issue within the next few weeks, as we are preparing all our sleds for the upcoming season here.
