Trying to get my sister's 2023 Prowler Pro running again after it sat for a while. New battery, fresh plug, but it's hit or miss whether the button works. Pull starting sometimes gets it going. Could the regulator swap be messing with voltage?

Take a look at the white prop in the airbox. It needs to be clean and dry, no oil on it. If it's wet or dirty, it might mean there's a problem with the breather or intake that you should fix

I'll check the airbox and see if anything's off. Never hurts to rule out an easy fix before chasing wiring issues. Have you encountered this issue on a Prowler Pro or is it something you've observed on other machines?

I've seen similar weird starts on a few UTVs after a regulator swap and this usually happens if the ground wasn't perfect. I think if you got the time you can check all your grounds and connectors before looking into deeper electrical possibilities.

The regulator was my 1st thought too. Will surely check the grounds. Are there 1 or 2 main grounding points on the frame that I should start with?
