Arctic Cat 450 suddenly dead

my dad was out riding his Arctic Cat 450 the other day, and all of a sudden, it went totally dead, the AWD also stopped working.

The weird part is, all his other lights were still on and the quad would still start just fine.

He got it back home, and we've both been trying to figure out what's wrong, but we can't find anything obvious.
Any ideas on what could cause this?

If the lights and starter are working but it went totally dead mid-ride, it might be a faulty ignition relay or a wiring issue near the ECU. As for the AWD, check the fuse and the actuator connection, sometimes corrosion or a loose plug can cause it to stop working

@Gloomy_Eye85 That makes sense. I think @brakewhisperer_ should also inspect the main ground connections. A loose or corroded ground can cause random power drops without affecting lights or starting.
