There's this used ATV I wanna pick up (500cc class), and everything looks good except the battery is on its last leg, the seller says it'll start with a jump but dies quick if left sitting, so definitely not holding a charge.
And yeah I know batteries aren't a huge deal to replace, but could this weak battery be a red flag for deeper electrical issues because I'd hate to have any other issues but if it's just this battery, no problem, I'll throw in a new AGM or lithium and call it a day. But I'd love to hear if anyone has had any experience where a dying battery was the harbinger of something worse
So what do you think, is it still worth buying if everything else checks out, or should I dig deeper
