My bro's been scratching his head over his wheeler lately, and I'm helping him with this.
He's got this newer Arctic Chat, and he's noticed it seems to freewheel a little more than he likes when he's going down steep grades.
After digging into the exploded views, he's pretty sure they stopped putting the oneway bearing in these newer models.
So, I wonder if anyone here has actually installed a oneway bearing on a newer Cat that didn't come with one from the factory? If so, how much of a pain was it to put in?
On top of that, he's also thinking about swapping out for 42lb wet clutch springs to get a little more punch off the line.
He figures it'll bump the stall from 1400 to 1800 RPM, which isn't a huge jump but might make a difference.
The kicker is, he was literally just in there a few months ago for something else and didn't even think of this then!
Any thoughts or experiences you guys have would be awesome!
